Three Names Later and The Holding Space

Support for the seasons of parenting — and for life beyond it.

Three Names Later offers gentle, emotionally attuned counselling for individuals, couples, and families — both online and in person.

This work is held in two ways:

Three Names Later (Online)

Accessible counselling and support for those navigating identity shifts, relationship challenges, parenthood, and the quiet overwhelm that can come with change.

The Holding Space, Belair (In Person)

A face-to-face counselling and support space in the Adelaide Hills, offering individual and couples counselling, women’s circles, postpartum support, parenting support, and baby massage.

Same values.

Different ways of being held.

Come as you are.

You were never meant to do this alone.

Three Names Later

.

👋 Hi, I’m Kelly
I’m a counsellor, parent, and the heart behind Three Names Later. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and connection. I support people through the many seasons of life — whether that’s navigating personal challenges, relationship shifts, or the tender journey of parenting.

My background is in counselling and social work, with experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through times of change, stress, and growth. Over the years I’ve worked with parents in the early months of postpartum, couples navigating communication challenges, and individuals seeking clarity and healing in their personal lives.

My approach is gentle, relational, and emotionally attuned. I draw on evidence-based frameworks while holding space for your unique story. Together, we’ll explore what feels heavy, uncover new perspectives, and build strategies that support both resilience and self-compassion.

I believe you don’t need to have it all figured out to start; sometimes the most important step is simply showing up and being open to support. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels gentle, honest, and deeply human.

At three names later, we aim to be just that, a safe landing space and a village for everyone to get the supprot they need.

Kelly is a Qualified Counsellor and Social Worker with 15 years experience working with and supporting families. She is passionate about creating change and supporting people to become better versions of themselves.

Individual Support

  • Becoming a parent can bring joy, love, exhaustion — and a thousand silent questions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or like you’ve lost a part of yourself along the way, you’re not alone.

This space is just for you — a place to unpack what you’re carrying, explore who you are now, and find steadiness within the emotional waves of parenthood.

Together, we may explore themes such as:

    • Identity shifts and matrescence/patrescence

    • Postpartum mood changes (anxiety, sadness, rage, guilt)

    • Relationship changes and mental load

    • Boundaries, burnout, and re-connection with self

Sessions are available online via Zoom, or face to face at The Holding Space in Belair. For online sessions, you’ll receive a secure Zoom link by email once your booking is confirmed.

You’re welcome to book as often or as little as you need — this is your space, at your pace.

  • 🌿 Baby Massage

A calm, personalised session designed to support both you and your baby.

These 1:1 sessions gently guide you through soothing baby massage techniques, tailored to your baby’s unique needs — whether that’s easing wind, supporting sleep, or simply slowing down and strengthening your connection. Sessions move at your pace, with plenty of space for questions, reassurance, and focusing on what feels most supportive for you and your baby.

Sessions are available online through Three Names Later, or in person at The Holding Space in Belair. You can book when it feels right for you — there’s no pressure, no set schedule, and no ongoing commitment. Just supportive sessions, offered when you and your baby will benefit most.

No experience needed — just bring yourselves

  • 🌿 Individual Counselling

A supportive space to explore the parts of life that feel heavy, unclear, or overwhelming — whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationships, identity shifts, parenthood, or simply trying to make sense of where you are right now.

Together, we’ll slow things down and gently hold space for what’s real — with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Sessions are available online via Zoom, or face to face at The Holding Space in Belair. For online sessions, you’ll receive a secure Zoom link via email once your booking is confirmed.

There’s no ongoing commitment required — you’re welcome to book as many or as few sessions as feel right for you.

support for couples

  • A supportive space to explore what’s happening in your relationship — whether you’re feeling disconnected, stuck in cycles of conflict, or simply longing to feel close again.

Together, we’ll explore communication, emotional needs, relational patterns, and how life transitions (such as parenting, loss, or ongoing stress) may be impacting your connection. These sessions are grounded in curiosity, care, and the belief that change begins with understanding.

You’re welcome to come as a couple or individually — sometimes one brave conversation is all it takes to begin again.

Sessions are available online via Zoom, or face to face at The Holding Space in Belair. For online sessions, a secure Zoom link will be emailed to you once your booking is confirmed.

  • Parenting can bring out both the best and the hardest in a relationship. Between sleepless nights, shifting roles, emotional load, and big feelings (yours and theirs), it’s easy to feel out of sync with your partner.

This session offers a space to pause and reflect — not on who’s doing what wrong, but on how you’re navigating this season together. We’ll explore communication, parenting values, expectations, and ways to stay connected while raising small humans.

You don’t have to agree on everything — just be willing to listen, repair, and grow as a team.

Sessions are available online via Zoom, or face to face at The Holding Space in Belair. For online sessions, a secure Zoom link will be sent once your booking is confirmed.

  • A supportive, structured space for couples adjusting to life after baby — when everything changes, including how you connect.

Over 12 weeks, you and your partner will be gently guided through the emotional, relational, and practical shifts that come with new parenthood. Together, we’ll explore communication, identity, intimacy, roles, and the invisible mental load — while learning how to show up for each other with compassion and care.

This isn’t therapy in crisis. It’s a conscious investment in your relationship during one of its most vulnerable seasons.

Sessions are available online via Zoom, or face to face at The Holding Space in Belair. For online sessions, a secure Zoom link will be sent before each session.

Payment plans are available, with optional one-off sessions also offered.

Group Support

  • A gentle, connection-focused space for you and your baby to slow down, bond, and be supported alongside a small group of other parents.

Across four weekly sessions, you’ll learn soothing baby massage techniques to support sleep, digestion, and emotional regulation — while also creating time for calm, presence, and shared experience. Each session includes guided instruction, space for questions, and gentle opportunities to connect with others who are in a similar season.

This group is offered in person at The Holding Space in Belair, or online via Zoom, so you can join in the way that feels most supportive for you.
Dates and session times will be listed on the booking page.

No experience needed — just bring yourself, your baby, and whatever kind of day you’re having.

  • A gentle, grounding space for mothers navigating the emotional shifts of life after baby — whether you’re weeks, months, or even years into your parenting journey.

Across eight weekly sessions, we explore the often unspoken parts of motherhood: identity changes, mood, relationships, mental load, boundaries, grief, and the quiet question of who you are now. This isn’t a parenting class — it’s support for you as a person.

Sessions are offered in person at The Holding Space in Belair, or online via Zoom, so you can join in the way that best suits your needs and location.
Upcoming group dates and times are listed on the booking page.

Babies and big feelings are welcome. Come as you are — messy, tired, uncertain, or curious. There’s space for all of it here.

  • A gentle, guided space for couples to pause, reconnect, and remember they’re not doing this alone — in parenting or in partnership.

Parenthood changes everything — including how we relate, communicate, and hold each other. Holding the Couple is a small, supportive group of couples navigating the same emotional terrain: the exhaustion, the distance, the invisible labour, the tenderness, and the love beneath it all.

Across four weekly sessions, you and your partner will:

    • Reconnect through structured conversations and reflection

    • Learn to communicate with more care and curiosity

    • Explore the emotional and mental load of parenting

    • Hear from other couples who are also figuring it out

    • Leave with tools and prompts to take back into daily life

This group isn’t therapy. It’s a safe, real, and gently guided space to feel seen — not just by your partner, but by others walking a similar path.

Groups are offered in person at The Holding Space in Belair, or live online via Zoom, allowing you to join in the way that feels most supportive for your family.

Maximum of 6 couples to ensure intimacy and space to share — or simply listen.
Printable conversation prompts and optional take-home reflections are included.

You don’t have to fix everything.
You just have to show up — together.

Who
we are

At Three Names Later, we offer more than counselling — we offer a place to land when everything feels like it’s shifting.

This practice was born from my own experience — as a therapist, a mother, and a woman who changed with each name I gave: Poppy, Luca, and Nico. Each one reshaped me, and in their wake, Three Names Later emerged — not as a business, but as a response to what mothers and couples truly need after baby: a place to be seen, heard, and held.

We support mothers and couples navigating the early seasons of parenthood, postpartum identity, relationship changes, and the mental load that often goes unspoken. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, grieving the loss of who you used to be, or simply needing a space to breathe — this is for you.

Our work is grounded in emotional safety, gentleness, and relational care.
Because you’re not just healing from birth.
You’re becoming someone new.

And you shouldn’t have to do that alone.
